Hi, my name is Delia and I’ve survived 24 hours without eating added sugar… I think.
The day began easy enough, as I feel it always does. But by late into the evening, that longing for something sweet hit. I tried to ignore it and eventually gave up and ate some plain greek yogurt with peanut butter (it’s not as weird of a combination as you think!)
In all, Day 1 was successful, albeit the easiest part is always at the beginning. As the days go on, I’m sure this will get more difficult.
1/3 cup large flake oats
1/4 scoops chocolate peanut butter protein powder (there was only 1g of sugar in an entire scoop)
1/2 tbsp ground chia seed
1/2 tbsp ground flax seed
1/4 cup egg whites
Franks red hot (I really do put that sh*t on everything)
Leftover homemade beef chilli
Grilled salmon with a roasted red pepper sauce
1 large banana
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1 tbsp peanut butter
Total calories: Approx 1,600
